Our team partnered with a long term client to improve performance in key areas of the stores.

Expertise
Interior Design, Concept Creation

Our teams have worked with iconic upmarket department store Fortnum & Mason on a number of projects. On this occasion we researched and devised design solutions to improve sales performance in several specified areas of the Piccadilly flagship.

We looked at the ground floor entrance desk and queue management system, the ground floor chocolate department and the beer and spirits area on the lower ground floor. As well as delivering significant functional improvements, the design needed to be aesthetically stunning, in keeping with customer expectations of such an historic part of London’s retail landscape.

By completely reimagining these sections of the store, we exceeded the performance targets set at the outset of the project. Sophisticated lighting, signage and branding were introduced to highlight relevant products, while layout and display were all enhanced to drive sustained improvement in overall sales. Fortnum & Mason has reported that the design has improved like for like sales and we have been retained to work on additional parts of the store on an ongoing basis.
